Community Living: Give the Gift of Life

According to Canadian Blood Services there is a looming shortage of the life-giving liquid in Halton. A low number of donors, due to cancelled appointments on the Labour Day long weekend that haven’t been re-booked, have compelled CBS to ask local residents to roll up their sleeves.

Please help out by visiting the donor clinic at the Power Centre, 1250 Brant St., Burlington. Clinic hours are Monday and Thursday from 8 am.-1 pm., and 2:30-8 pm., Wednesday from 4-8 pm. and Saturday from 9 am.-1 pm. Regular donors can give blood every eight weeks.
