Community Living: Gearing Up for World Day of Interconnectedness

Have you ever thought how your actions affect others? Even people you have never met? Or maybe you’ve wondered if what would have happened if you had made a different choice. Celebrate World Day of Interconnectedness and show the world the good your actions can do.

Gearing Up for World Day of Interconnectedness

September 9, 2009 will be World Day of Interconnectedness, a day to consider a shift from Illness to Wellness. At 9:00am, across the world and starting in New Zealand, we are invited to translate our awareness of our interconnectedness into action that will benefit us all. The World Day of Interconnectedness is based on the principle that energy follows thoughts and feelings. What we focus on is what we manifest and attract. These are the universal laws of manifestation and attraction, proven by quantum science.

How can you use this principle in practice? Some ideas:

  • Express your appreciation to your family, your colleagues and to those you see everyday like the bus driver, the mail carrier or the stranger that always smiles and says “good morning”. Appreciation and smiles are contagious. Be the start of the chain.
  • Share your talents with the world. Do you sing? Do you bake the world’s best cookies? Do you collect antiques? Let the world know about your passions. You may meet someone who feels the same way or spark the interest in someone new.
  • Be the change you want to see in the world. Support local business. Write to your MP about issues that move you. Donate to charities and volunteer your time and talent. Your actions dictate what you want the world to be.

Gear up for September 9th and invite your friends to do the same. It’s time to focus on the good that we can manifest and attract.
