Food & Wine Discoveries

Since 1995, the Niagara region has been transformed into a wintry wonderland each January celebrating Canada's most cherished products, Ontario Icewine.

From Gala evenings, ornate ice bars and Icewine Classic Weekends, to roasting chestnuts, frozen art exhibits and winter tours along Niagara's famed wine route, the 12th edition of the Niagara Icewine Festival offers plenty for every taste.  It runs from Friday, January 19th to Sunday, January 28th

The awesome wonder of Niagara Falls awaits. You'll find the most prestigious Wineries, welcoming Places to Stay, fun Things to Do, magnificent Places to Eat.

This event series offers programs from black tie dinners, educational wine and food seminars, to outdoor Icewine tastings. The Icewine Classic offers discerning guests an exclusive compelling Niagara Icewine experience that includes five-star accommodation, one-on-one interaction with winemakers, international chefs and artist Gordon Halloran.

Their opening act is the annual Xerox “Images of  Winter” Gala Evening and Silent Auction. Situated in the Penthouse Dining Room of the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, over 30 Ontario wineries will present over 100 award winning Icewines, making it Canada’s largest public Icewine tasting. Placed conspicuously between the wineries, a dozen food stations offer the finest in Canadian cuisine. With the breathtaking view of the partially frozen Niagara Falls as its backdrop, it’s no wonder this is a winter event favourite. Click here for all of the details.
