Luanne Long, Bayshore Home Health

I've been with Bayshore for seven years in various positions in our Hamilton office.  I was appointed Area Director of the new Oakville branch (servicing the region of Halton) in June of this year.

Prior to joining Bayshore, I was with a disability insurance company for ten years, specializing in customer service.

Being the oldest of three children, I've had many experiences dealing with aging parents, children and a career.

Scott Johnson, Home Instead Senior Care

I am married to Leslie Johnson and we live in Oakville with our two children, Ashley, 21 years old and Alexandra who is 13 years old.  We have been residents of Oakville for 21 years.

I earned a business degree from Ryerson University in 1981.  After graduating from Ryerson I worked for eight years as a full time employee learning all aspects of business from the viewpoint of large corporations.

In 1989 I decided to venture out on my own and started Compudigm Information Systems Canada LTD.  The main initiative of this corporation was technical consulting and computer system engineering.  As the sole director of the company I spent many hours of networking and marketing as well as a lot of hard work to yield a well respected reputation in the business and information systems community.

I am now one of the managing directors of Home Instead Senior Care and I take great pride and get a great deal of satisfaction in helping the seniors in our local communities.
