Kate Jones, Kate Jones & Associates   

The focus of everything Kate does is people. She has helped clients as diverse as Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation, Yellow Pages, The Canadian Mental Health Association, Prime50 Employment Services, York University and Peel District School Board teachers, all of whom recognize that interpersonal skills are essential for excellent performance. She is a skilled international trainer and speaker whose passion is helping individuals and groups of people learn to maximize their potential in today’s challenging society.

As an award-winning Facilitator Kate has developed and delivered seminars in management (e.g., stress, office, and human resources), work/life balance, and graduate thesis design. In addition she has facilitated courses in the education and mental health fields (e.g., careers, team building, stress, journal writing, assessment and evaluation). She has worked with diverse populations ranging from youth to senior executives.  

Kate, an Author, has written newsletters, articles for newspapers, and magazines on various topics including human behaviour, the Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event, and her daughter’s African trip. She was one of the primary researchers in Graham Haley’s latest book, Haley’s Cleaning Hints, before authoring her own book, Her Journey: Stories of Entrepreneurs.

In the past, Kate has inspired participants as a presenter and speaker in educational, mental health and business settings on topics including WorkSmart, Life Balance for the Single Working Parent, Balancing With “Colour”, Work Well: Reduce Your Stress, Writing 4 Life, and Team Building Without Climbing The Walls.  

Kate’s education, certifications and experience allow her to custom design workshops for her clients’ specific needs so that they reach their powerful potential and consequently bring a better performance to the team.
