slow your ride and escape from the every day
high gear is overrated
Changing Gears Adventures is about creating experiences that slow your ride and provide escape from the every day. We create stress-free cycling experiences along the G2G Trail. Whether you're looking for a guided tour or self-guided support, we handle the logistics so you can fully enjoy the ride.
Our guided Ontario bike tours prioritize an unhurried pace, so you can stop to smell the roses, talk to the trees, and scan the skies. Tours take place along the Goderich to Guelph corridor, or in and around Goderich and Lake Huron, to undiscovered destinations that offer little surprises.
When you’re finished riding, stay awhile and relax in our by-the-lake private backyard studio, here in Goderich, Ontario. Enjoy all the towns offerings and one of the worlds best sunsets in the “Prettiest town in Canada”.

FOUNDER & BIKE TOUR GUIDE
vicky rao
Launching a second career as a bike tour guide might seem like a stretch for someone who crashed into a shrub the first time they rode a bike.
But when you’re on a bike, you feel more alert, more alive, and you can see and absorb things using all your senses when travelling between places.
My vision for Changing Gears is to help share my passion for riding, unhurried adventure, and bike culture beyond urban centres.
The G2G trail in particular is an opportunity to lose yourself on 132 km of worry-free, car-free travel, making you feel like you’re in another country without leaving Ontario’s backyard.
